Sligo manager Kevin Walsh is adamant that his players won't be complacent against London.

The sides meet in the Connacht SFC opener at Ruislip on Sunday, May 26th and Sligo will go into the match as strong favourites to advance to the provincial semi final.

Walsh stressed to the Sligo Champion that they will be taking a cautious approach to the match, especially as it is being played on London's home grounds.

"There's no danger of complacency on our part," stated Walsh. "Going to London is a different sort of challenge, but we'll prepare in the right way and be ready for whatever is thrown at us.

"We had a similar situation when we went to New York last year and we coped with that very well. These sort of games can be a bit of a step into the unknown. With the economic situation in Ireland over the last few years, a lot of good footballers have gone abroad so London will be strong this year. They always make it difficult for visiting teams. Mayo and Leitrim have had problems there in the last few years."
