The Tubbercurry/Cloonacool U-14 team started their league campaign last Friday evening 26th April with a home game versus St Molaise Gaels, the lads were well beaten on the night. Round 2 is away to Easkey on Friday 10th May 7pm.

The U-16 played Tourlestrane last Saturday afternoon 4th May in Round 8 of the league, in Kilcoyne Park, following a close fought game they were beaten by 3 points, 1.07 to 1.10. The final round of league games is on the 13th May when we play St. Marys in Kent Park. We have two rescheduled games to play versus Easkey and Calry/St Josephs. We are currently in 4th position in the league, the top 4 qualify for the semi-finals, the remainder play in the semi-finals of the Shield. The semi-finals will take place on Monday May 20th and the finals taking place on Thursday May 23rd.

The Tubbercurry/Cloonacool minor team play Calry/ St Joseph's on Tuesday next the 7th May at 7pm in Kilcoyne Park, this is the final game in the league section and a victory is necessary to progress to the knock out stages. The top team in the league progress to the final with 2nd and 3rd advancing to the semi-final. The is also a Shield competition for teams placed 4th 5th and 6th.

The Senior Football Team played Cúil Áine/Mullach na Bréine/Coolaney/Mullinabreena in Round 6 last Saturday evening 4th May in Kilcoyne Park, in an exciting game they ran out winners in the end 0.11 to 1.06. On Bank Holiday Monday 6th May they played Castleconnor in the rescheduled Round 3 game in Kilcoyne Park, they also their second win of the weekend on a score line of 2.11 to 0.11. The next fixture is against St Farnan's in Kilcoyne Park on the 11th May @ 7.30.

The Junior Footballers game versus St. John's was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch, the next game is Round 4 against Bunninadden away on the weekend of the 25/26th May.

The club would like to wish David Wynne and Cathal Surlis a speedy recovery from recent injuries they received playing for the club.
