Tourlestrane GAA Club Notes

Our Senior men drew with Curry 1-6 to 9 points, on Saturday last in round 5 of the league. The team will play off two rounds of the league next weekend due to the cancellation of the Geevagh game recently. The team are due to play Bunninadden on Saturday night in Bunninadden Community Park at 7pm and are then away to Geevagh again on Monday.
Our Division 3 team enjoyed a good win at home on Sunday last against Shamerock Gaels. The final score was 3-10 to 1-5. The team play Cloonacool on Sunday at 2pm.
Our Minor boys lost 3-5 to 2-14 to Calry/St. Josephs on Thursday last. They face St. Mary's on Thursday at 7pm in Kent Park.
The U-14 boys return to action this Thursday with an away tie with Curry at 7pm.
The U-16 hurlers had a 4-9 to 4 point win over Naomh Eoin on Saturday last. They play Glencar/Manorhamilton on Wednesday at 7pm. The U-14 hurlers also kick of their season against the same opposition on Friday night in Tourlestrane at 7pm.

The 2013 South Sligo Walking Festival takes place over this May Bank Holiday, 4th to the 6th of May 2013. Every year there are new walks added to the festival and it its hoped that the gathering of hill walkers will continue to grow this year.
