Gary Waldron scored 1-5 as Sligo registered a nine-point victory over Warwickshire in Birmingham.

The corner forward pounced for a first half goal and the Yeats County put further daylight between themselves and the hosts in the second half thanks to further majors from Ciaran Brennan and Kevin Gilmartin.

Conor Robbins posted 0-11 (0-10 from frees) for the Exiles, but still finished on the losing side. Sligo's victory would have been even greater had Brendan Kenny not missed a first half penalty.
