Sligo manager Cathal Corey admits that his charges face a huge test against Galway in Sunday's Connacht SFC semi-final.

Having defeated London in the opening round, Sligo now must step up a few levels if they are to trouble Galway who are favourites to win the provincial title.

Corey acknowledges that they are a good side, but he added that all the pressure is on Galway as they are expected to win.

"I was very impressed with Galway now they are well organised, they are well drilled and well focused and they look to be the only team that could maybe challenge Dublin, that's the talk so it is going to be a massive task for this Sligo team but we are going down there and we are just hoping on the day to get a performance," Corey told the Sligo Champion.

He added: "There is probably no pressure on us people are talking about how when 20 years ago Corofin won the All-Ireland Galway won the All-Ireland now Corofin have won the club championship and they are talking about Galway and the Sam Maguire but that is all the talk that goes with it here.

"Whether there is pressure or no pressure we prepare to the best we can, our team for the game so there probably is more pressure on them they have only lost one match all year to Dublin, but you know winning all those games brings a massive confidence to a team and panel and Galway will be very confident in their ability and the way they are set up and their management team will bring a lot of confidence so I suppose the pressure is on them. They are playing at home in front of their supporters but we just need to keep doing what we are doing."
