Senior Team

Our King & Moffat sponsored senior team battled hard in a very entertaining game to secure a draw against Elphin on Sunday last. Goals from Paul Garvey and Derek Connellan ensured a share of the spoils as the game finished 2-8 to 0-14. Next up for our senior team is round 1 of the championship on Sunday the 7th of May against Clann na nGael in Clann na nGael. 

 

Junior Team 

This Sunday at 2pm our Junior team travel to Kilbride to take on Kilbride in round 3 of the Junior league.

 

Underage 

Our U-16 team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels play St Faithleachs on Wednesday evening at 7pm in a play off for a semi final spot. Our U-12 team play Padraig Pearses this Saturday at 12pm in Woodmount. 

 

Ladies

Our junior ladies team were defeated by Castlerea on Sunday last in the league. 

 

Other News

Well done to Dessie Glancy, Elphin who won our 50/50 jackpot of €506 on Sunday night last. The ticket was sold by Carmelita Caslin. Our €25 winners were Joe Reynolds, Kay Sharkey, Rachel Gormely and Siobhan Hunt. Thanks to Trevor Hunt and his team of sellers. Next on selling duty is Clare Connellans team. The Club thanks everyone who turned out on Friday evening last to assist picking stones on the new second pitch. We will probably need to do the same again in the next few weeks.
