Gerry Fallon helped himself to 1-9 as Roscommon overcame the challenge of Donegal in the HL Division 3A in Athleague.

Cillian Egan was also in good scoring form for the winners and he finished with 2-1 to his name.

Egan struck for the game's opening goal in the 24th minute and the Rossies went in at half-time with a slender 1-8 to 0-9 cushion.

The hosts outscored the visitors by 2-3 to 0-6 after the resumption.
