Roscommon's sensational victory over Kildare in last Monday's All-Ireland MFC quarter-final may have been ruined for one supporter when his "good jumper" went missing!

The geansai was lost in the post-match celebrations on the O'Connor Park pitch, but was later found and has been in Roscommon county secretary Brian Stenson's possession since Monday evening.

The Roscommon GAA Supporters' Club issued the following appeal on Twitter: "In After match celebrations a #Roscommon #gaa Supporter dropped a good jumper on the pitch in Tullamore today Roscommon Co Secretary has it"

Several radio stations have since jokingly appealed for the owner to come forward and in the past couple of hours, the Supporters' Club posted the following tweet: "We may have a break through in our "Good jumper" incident!!!"

So it looks as though the jumper will be reunited with its owner after all!
