This weekend sees the second round of the senior football championship take place, while for some teams, it is a first outing.

The weather hampered a complete first round of fixtures as some games were called off, but all teams are in action this weekend.

Defending champions St Brigid's were pushed all the way against Western Gaels last weekend, and they should prevail against Kilbride who lost their opening match.
