Goals from Robbie and Gerry Fallon sent Roscommon into the semi-final of the Nicky Rackard Cup at the expense of Louth at Ballyhaunis.

The Rossies got off to the perfect start when full-forward Robbie netted inside the opening minute and they led by 1-6 to 0-7 at half-time.

Center-forward Gerry - who finished with 1-10 to his name - converted a penalty in the second half to give Seamus Qualter's charges a six-point cushion.

The Wee County fought back with a brace of points from Diarmuid Murphy but Roscommon progress to meet Tyrone in the last four next weekend. Tweet
