Upcoming Fundraiser: We would like to thank all those who attended and bought tickets for 'The Pull' last Saturday night. A good crowd was in attendance and got value for money with an excellent show from the guys of Half Solid Productions. Thank you to all who contributed in anyway you support is greatly appreciated.
Results: The Glancys Super Valu sponsored Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U16s were defeated by St Dominics in the championship on Friday evening last. In conditions more ideal for ducks the lads tried their hardest and the score line of 3-12 to 2-06 did not reflect their efforts. Goals coming from Cormac O'Rourke and Colin McDonnell. The concludes the U16s until the exams are over. The U14s game against Tulsk fixed for last week did not go ahead due to the weather.
Fixtures: The Glancys SV Glancys SV Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U14s play Tulsk on this Tuesday (21st May) at 7pm in Kilmore. They also play Western Gaels in Frenchpark at 7pm on Thursday (23rd May) in the league.
County Board Draw: The club have to reach a target for county board tickets. Tickets cost €100 with a first prize of €35,000. There is a total of 20 prizes ranging from weekends away to All Ireland final tickets. This year there is a special draw for clubs who reach their quota of tickets. Members of the board will be contacting club members and supporters and we would encourage for as much support with the tickets as possible.
Ladies: The Ladies club will hold their poker night on Wednesday in Jim Glancy's at 9pm. Everyone welcome.
The U12s will contest the county Quarter Final which looks likely to be played at the weekend but full match details are yet to be confirmed.
The Cash for Clobber collection will take place at the end of the month. All unwanted clothing is greatly appreciated.
The U16 county team were due to play Galway last Saturday but the game was postponed due to the unplayable pitch and will be rescheduled for a later date.
