Shane Curran has been given the all-clear to line out against Crossmaglen tomorrow.

The veteran St Brigid's goalkeeper was an injury concern after sustaining a quad injury during a challenge match but manager Kevin McStay confirmed yesterday that the former Roscommon netminder will be available for Saturday afternoon's crunch All-Ireland club football championship semi-final at Mullingar.

A former All Star nominee and Roscommon captain, Curran also played between the posts for Athlone Town. His fitness comes as a major boost to the Roscommon and Connacht champions.

A relieved McStay pointed out that Curran's available was important not just because of his quality but also for the vast experience he brings to the side.
