Results: Well done to our U16 lads who defeated Kilmore in the first round of the championship on Friday evening last, in a great team performance. That concludes all games for minors and U16s until after the Junior and Leaving Cert exams. The Junior A's were defeated by the narrowest of margins by St.Ronans last Saturday. Final score 1-06 to 1-05. The results leaves them fourth in the table on scoring difference. Their next game is against Elphin on June 2nd.

Fixtures: The U14s face Kilmore on Thursday evening in the league. Throw-in is at 7pm in Croghan. Please support.

Pairc naGael: No training can take place in Pairc naGael, Cortober during this weekend due to Bull Sales. Please get in contact with relevant pitch administrators if organising training this week and check club website for some timetables

Shannon Gaels Summer Camp: The Shannon Gaels GAA summer camps returns this year. Its takes place from 2nd-6th July in Pairc naGael, Cortober. Watch out for application forms during the coming weeks and on the club website.

County Board: Tickets for the County Board draw are now on sale. There are 3 draws with a total of 33 prizes ranging from €1,000 to €20,000. The first draw takes place this weekend. Tickets can be got from executive members in your area.

Ladies: The Junior Ladies finished their league campaign in style beating Roscommon Gaels on Saturday evening in Croghan. This tightly contested game, played with 11-aside, ended with the teams tied at full-time. The Gaels fought hard in extra time and won on a scoreline of 0-22 to 2-12, ensuring Junior A status for next years' league. Team and scorers: Tracey Duignan, Linda Duignan, Clodagh Corrigan, Niamh O'Beirne, Martina Hanly, Ruth O'Hart (0-1), Aisling O'Hart (0-7), Sorcha Bruen (0-2), Bridgette Keane (0-2), Deirdre O'Dowd (0-4), Aishling McDermott (0-6), Mairead O'Dowd, Aoife Guihen, Sile O'Dowd, Ciara Devane, Niamh Flanagan, Claire Duignan, Lauren Beirne, Mary Simon. The U.12 girls drew with Strokestown on Friday last. The ladies club annual poker classic will take place on Wednesday night at 9pm in Glancy's Waterfront Bar. Support appreciated. Please set aside all your unwanted clothes, shoes, bags, bed-linen, etc., for the 'Cash for Clobber' collection which will be taking place on Bank Holiday Monday.
