The Minor lads game V Elphin did not go ahead on Sunday and will have to be refixed. Minor training continues on Tuesday and Friday at 7pm.

A Registration night will take place for all Male players (Underage and Adults) on Wednesday 14th at the clubhouse from 7-8pm. Senior players €50, all players U18 €20. All players must be registrated before playing any game for the club.

As part of our GAA Social Initiative project, Éire Óg GAA Club in association with Moth Productions, present Victor's Dung, written, directed by and starring award-winning actor and former Co. Leitrim footballer, Seamus O'Rourke in Gorthaganny Hall on Saturday 24th March 2012 - starting at 9 pm, the show will also feature local musicians. Admission €10 - Tickets on sale locally.

Victor's Dung is the comic tale of Victor Maguire, a un-PC Cavan farmer. Set in a farmyard, complete with dung heap, the play takes the audience on a whirlwind tour through Victor's somewhat sad and unconventional life, meeting up with many a strange bucko along the way.

The ladies committee are calling on any Parents/Volunteers of the U12, U10 and U8 girls teams who may be interested in helping out with training to contact any member of the ladies club to discuss same. As all three age groups will be training together this year we are expecting high numbers and we are always looking for volunteers to help train the children. Training usually commences around the end of March and is finished up in June.

A registration night for Eire Og Ladies Club will take place on Thursday March 29th from 8pm to 9pm in the Club House. Registration for all underage girls teams, minors and adults will be accepted on the night. Registration fees are as follows: Adults €50, Over 10's and (up to) Minors €35, and Under 10's €20.

The U16 ladies had a great stat to the Championship defeating St Croans at home on a scoreline of 4-4 to 2 -5. The girls put in a spirited team performance right throughout the game and came out deservered winners. We play St Kevin's away on Monday the 19th of March at 5pm.

The club would like to wish the Foroige Club and everyone involved in the St Patrick's Parade/Fair in Loughglynn on the Sunday the 18th of March the best of luck.

The club extends sympathy to the Flanagan family Carrowbehy on the recent death in New Jersey of John Noone (Formerly Meelick).
