There will be a club meeting on this Tuesday night, July 6th in the clubhouse at 9pm.
Well done to the U12 girls team who defeated St.Brigids in the Division 2B county final on a scoreline of Éire Óg 3-3, St.Brigids 2-1. A big thank you to all the supporters, parents, the trainers, our sponsor Sean Creaton Lisacul, Garda Muirdeach Colleary for the escort, all who helped out in the clubhouse afterwards, and to the girls themselves. They've put in a great effort over the past couple of months and have done themselves and the club proud. The intermediate ladies got their championship campaign off to a winning start against Castlerea St. Kevins recently. The final score was Éire Óg 3-11, Castlerea 2-8. Thanks to Karen who provided refreshments in the club house after the game.
Congratulations also to the U12 boys who were crowned U12 Division 2 league champions on Friday evening last when the cup was presented to captain James Lafferty. They went through the league undefeated notching up some very impressive wins along the way. Well done to the panel of players, management team of Pat Finan and Tony Coleman and all the parents and supporters who were out in great numbers on Friday evening last. The team toured the parish before returning to the club house for refreshments. Tickets for the county board draw are on sale from club members. Please support and there some great prizes up for grabs.
The ladies club are collecting bags of clothing. If anyone has any bags to donate please contact any member of the ladies executive.
