St Brigid's manager Anthony Cunningham has admitted that he has had three great years in charge of the side as the former All-Ireland winner ended his term on a high. It may not have been the county title that Brigid's lifted last Sunday when they defeated Padraig Pearses in the O'Rourke Cup final, but it was still a fitting end to Cunningham's reign as manager. Having guided the club to Connacht glory last year and to two county titles during his time in charge, the former Galway hurler will always be held in high esteem with the club. "They've been three super years. These guys have plenty of talent. They're so comfortable on the ball. They've had fantastic innings but I would say they're only beginning, because they have so much potential," said Cunningham. "They'll make it very hard for a lot of teams next year. I know they have ambitions of winning a county championship and making it back into the Connacht final." Tweet
