Senan Connell says he fears for Roscommon ahead of their Super 8s clash against Dublin on Sunday afternoon.

The Rossies head for Croke Park this weekend playing for pride against the already qualified All-Ireland champions and former Dubs forward Connell feels the beaten Connacht finalists could be in trouble going by the manner of their defeat to Donegal the last day.

"The energy, the urgency, the intensity, the aggression just wasn't there in Roscommon," Connell is quoted saying by Sky Sports.

"All of a sudden, they're coming to play Dublin, All-Ireland champions in Croke Park - I'd fear for them."

He added: "I suppose Dublin just need to stay in game mode, between the ears. Just don't get bad habits, and they could do without getting bad habits against Roscommon with a tough semi-final to come. That's where I fear for Roscommon coming to Croker."
