Nothing but the 'A' game will do Bradshaw

Galway defender Gareth Bradshaw is adamant that anything less that a very good performance against Roscommon will not be good enough to claim the Connacht SFC title.

Bradshaw points back to last year's decider where Roscommon ran out nine-point winners over the Tribesmen to claim their first title in eight years.

And the experienced defender is in no doubt that they must produce a decent display to have any chance of dethroning the defending champions.

"Roscommon came at us at a rate of knots. Any team will, if you're not at it on any given day. Whether it's Roscommon or whether it's Sligo or whether it's Dublin, if you're not tuned in, ready to go from the get-go, a team will turn you over like that," Bradshaw explained to the Connacht Tribune.

"Unfortunately for us, that's the way it panned out. Roscommon are a fine side, good forwards. Give them time and space and they'll shoot the lights out. We're well aware of that."
