Shane Curran will reunite with his former St. Brigid's team-mates Frankie Dolan and Mark O'Carroll after the trio were ratified as the club's new senior management team.

All three won All-Ireland club SFC medals with the Kiltoom club in 2013, with Dolan having served as manager for the past two years. Curran, who led St. Brigid's to a 1-8 to 0-8 victory over neighbours St. Dominic's in last weekend's inaugural Roscommon U20 final, and O'Carroll, who was in charge of Westmeath intermediate side Tubberclair for the past two years, replace former All Stars Enon Gavin and Declan Meehan in the set-up.

A post on the St. Brigid's Facebook page this morning read: "St.Brigid's Club executive committee have appointed a new internal senior management team for 2018 in Frankie Dolan, Mark O'Carroll and Shane Curran.

"Frankie, of course, has had two very successful years already with our senior teams and this coming year he will be joined by two of his All-Ireland winning team mates in Mark O'Carroll and Shane Curran.

"As most of you know both Mark and Shane have enjoyed very successful playing careers with St. Brigid's and have gained valuable managerial experience from their times with Tubberclair and Padraig Pearses respectively and also with various teams in St. Brigid's over the years.

"We are delighted to have a three-man management team from within our club and we hope you will all join with us in wishing them well for 2018.

"We would also like to acknowledge the work of Enon Gavin and Declan Meehan over the past year and thank them for all their help. We wish you both the best of luck for the future."

St. Brigid's claimed a clean sweep of Roscommon SFC, JFC, U20FC, MFC and U16FC titles this year.
