19th of November 2017 is a day that will go down in the clubs history as our magnificent Intermediate team and management captured the Gene Byrne Connacht Intermediate title for the first time ever. The team had a big win over Claregalway in Dr Hyde Park when many club hero's emerged. The club would like to congratulate all involved in this special win.Special thanks to all our supporters who turned out in huge numbers to cheer on the team and also to all businesses and people who sent both good luck and congratulation messages to the club. Following this maginificent day these lads will give us another day out on 20/21st January against Leinster Champions Kilanerin (Wexford) in an All Ireland Semi Final at at time and venue to be confirmed

Congratulations & very well done to Ladies Intermediate Player Ann Marie Heneghan who graduated from NUIG on Tuesday last with a BA Nursing Science Degree.
Congratulations & very well done to Intermediate Player Stephen Comer who graduated with a BA( Hons) from GMIT yesterday.

Congratulations to Gary, Caoileann and Darren who picked up their Connacht Senior Championship medals at the Club Rossie Banquet on Friday night last. These 3 lads have now picked up two Connacht medals this year following the clubs win.

The club wish to send their condolences to the family of Fr. Jackie Conroy P.P. Aughagower, Westport who passed away after a short illness.  During his time in Granlahan from 1977 - 1988 Fr Jackie was an active member and officer of our Club.  May his gentle soul rest in peace.
