AIB ULSTER CLUB SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.
Ballinderry (Derry) 1-8
Scotstown (Monaghan)0-10.
A point by Ryan Bell in the final minute of normal time saw Ballinderry snatch a late dramatic victory over Scotstown Clones yesterday. Scotstown led at half-time by 0-5 to 0-4 and by the 12th minute of the second-half they looked to be in a position to strike for victory when they led by four points. Ballinderry fought back to reduce the deficit to the minimum after 17 minutes before striking for the only goal of the game by Darren Conway in the 21st minute. Scotstown fought back to parity with points by Kieran Hughes from a free and James Turley but Ryan Bell had the last say to put the Derry champions through to the semi-final.
