Two first half goals from Conor Grogan paved the way for a Tyrone victory against Monaghan last Saturday.

Grogan's goals came in the 7th and 20th minute, giving the Red Hands a 2-9 to 1-7 interval lead. Tadgh Campbell struck goal for Monaghan.

Damien Casey was the games top scorer with nine points while Mickey McHugh kept the Monaghan score board ticking.

Tyrone maintained the upperhand in the second half. Substitute Ciaran McCrudden tagged on a couple of late points as his side booked their place in the last four.
