Emyvale club notes

August 13, 2019

Don’t Forget - Run To Remember - Gary Askin A 5K and 7K Walk/Run in memory of the late Gary Askin will take place on Friday August 16th 2019, starting at Emyvale GAA Grounds, Tully at 7.30pm sharp. This event was a great success last year and we were very grateful for the support and generosity from the local community and beyond. This year all donations on the day are in aid of Cavan Down Syndrome, Corracrin NS and The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Light refreshments served afterwards in Tully. Runners, joggers, walkers & people of all ages are very welcome. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Seniors had a great win on Sunday last against a strong Corduff side. Ryan Anespie and Daniel Mc Mahon got both of the goals either side of half time and with the game heading for a draw Ryan popped up with a great score to give our full points. Final scoreline of 2.12 to 1.14. Next up is the Championship this Sunday the 18th August vs Cremartin in Scotstown with throw in time of 6.30pm. Best of luck to team and management.
