Don’t Forget - Run To Remember - Gary Askin A 5K and 7K Walk/Run in memory of the late Gary Askin will take place on Friday August 16th 2019, starting at Emyvale GAA Grounds, Tully at 7.30pm sharp. This event was a great success last year and we were very grateful for the support and generosity from the local community and beyond. This year all donations on the day are in aid of Cavan Down Syndrome, Corracrin NS and The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Light refreshments served afterwards in Tully. Runners, joggers, walkers & people of all ages are very welcome. Look forward to seeing everyone there.
Seniors had a great win on Sunday last against a strong Corduff side. Ryan Anespie and Daniel Mc Mahon got both of the goals either side of half time and with the game heading for a draw Ryan popped up with a great score to give our full points. Final scoreline of 2.12 to 1.14. Next up is the Championship this Sunday the 18th August vs Cremartin in Scotstown with throw in time of 6.30pm. Best of luck to team and management.
U7’s training as usual on Wednesday evenings.
U9’s played a successful GoGames Blitz in Clones last Friday evening. As ever some great football and determination shown by these young girls and boys in wet weather. Well done all. Training Wednesday and Friday evenings 7:30-8:30pm.
U11’s play Aghabog in the Liam Stirrat development Saturday at 12. Training continues Monday and Wednesday evenings. We have a full run of games nearly every weekend till season end so a big turnout at training required. Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Harry Hamill on his recent injury.
U13 Both teams played in the round robin games in the championship with both teams coming up short against strong teams from Scotstown and Donaghmoyne. Preparation a continues now for the sudden death championship games coming up on Sat the 24th of August. Training Monday and Thursdays evenings.
U15 had a great win over St Marys na Mullai on Thursday last in the Round 2 Championship match. Final match in the round robin is Thursday the 22nd August.
U17’s Report from last week home game - We got the points due to league leaders Latton not fielding a team. We are in the Division 1 semi final away v Donaghmoyne this Tuesday evening . Throw in 7.30. Training this Thursday from 7.30-9.15 in Tully.
