Lotto:
The weekly Lotto draw took place on Sunday 15th April in MC's Shercock with a jackpot of €6,200.
There was no winner of the jackpot and the numbers drawn were 4, 18, 20 and 26. Congratulations to the 5 Lucky Dip winners F Brennan, P and J O'Reilly, Robert Donohoe, Frank McNally and Regina Farrell. This week's draw takes place in Deery's on Sunday the 22nd April with a jackpot of €6,300.

50th Anniversary.
2018 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Corduff Gaels club. Congratulations to everyone who has been involved with the development of the club over the last 50 years. To celebrate 5 decades of Gaelic football in the area there will be special events throughout the year. Tomorrow night Friday 20th April sees the first event with the official launch of the year and the launch of the commerative jersey . This event takes place in The Mountain Dew at 9:30pm in conjunction with the monthly Traditional Music Session. Refreshments served. The Corduff Gaels Club would like to extend an open invitation to everyone to attend this launch and get the celebrations under way!

Carrick Cancer Charity Football Match:
The annual Carrick Cancer Charity Football match took place last Saturday 14th April in Corduff with former greats from neighbouring clubs togging out for this good cause with all proceeds raised going directly to this very worthy charity. Pat Mc Nally and Carrick Cancer Committee would like to extend their gratitude to all who participated in the match with lots of talent on display! Pat would also like to extend his gratitude to the Corduff Gaels club for the use of the wonderful facilities.
County News:
Congratulations to Seamus McEnaney Monaghan Minor Manager, Jordan McGarrell Monaghan Joint Captain and the Monaghan Minor panel on winning the Jim McGuigan Ulster League final last Saturday by convincingly defeating Donegal on a scoreline of 2-21 to 1-12. This is great preparation for the upcoming preliminary round Ulster championship clash with Derry this Saturday at 6pm in Celtic Park and we wish everyone involved good luck.

The next Committee meeting is on Monday 30th April at 8:30pm in The Heritage Room.
Ladies
Results:
Division 2 League; Corduff Senior Ladies continued to build on the success of 2017 by getting their 2018 campaign off to a brilliant start with a win over Monaghan Harps last Sunday. Corduff controlled the game from the throw-in keeping the hosts scoreless until the 5th minute in the second half when Harps started to make a comeback but Corduff had already done enough and the game was effectively over at that stage. With a victory in the bag Corduff now face O'Neills this Sunday in Round 2 in Corduff. As this is a home match we're calling on all our supporters to come along and show your support.
