Annual Poker Classic: Our Annual Texas Holdem Poker Classic will be held on this Saturday evening the 14th April starting at 8pm. Registration is at 7pm. Refreshments to be served and admission is €50. All support welcome.

 

Seniors: The Senior team earned their first win of the season with a hard earned win over a gallant Blackhill outfit on Sunday last winning by 0.13 to 1.08. Aughnamullen raced into a 2point lead with points by Pete Dooney & Michael Bannigan but Blackhill scored a goal to take back them back into the game. Points were traded between the sides with Aughnamullen scores coming from Bannigan(3) and one from Edmond Mc Ardle to leave the half time score 1.05 to 0.06 in favour of Blackhill. Scores were hard to come by with our scores coming from Kevin Sheridan(1), Mc Ardle(2) and Bannigan(2) to leave it level with 5 minutes left and another Bannigan free and an excellent score from Kevin Sheridan leaving the blues victorious. Next game is an away match against Doohamlet on Sunday 22nd April.

Minors:  The minors played away to Monaghan Harps on Tuesday last and came away with a comfortable victory on a scoreline of 4-15 to 1-09. Aughnamullen lead throughout with goals coming from Kieran Duffy(2), Joel Wilson & Darren Geoghegan.  Next game is against Donaghmoyne in a few weeks time. Under 15: The Under 15 squad played their first game last Thursday evening and were beaten by Drumhowan. In the first half Aughnamullen played well and were unlucky to be down by 5 at half time.  In the 2nd half drumhowan proved stronger and ran out winners. Next game is tonight(thurs) at 6.30pm away to Corduff. Under 13: The Under 13 team were beat by Doohamlet last Saturday by 1 point 6-03 to 3-11. This was a game by either side could have won with some great scores from both sides. Under 11: The Under 11 play in spring league this Saturday against Latton at 12 noon and 1pm in Aughnamullen
