Castletown scored first in the second period only for St Ultans to score one for themselves to lead by one again. Castletown then took the game by the scruff of the neck and scored three points in a row from the 36th to the 39th minute to put a little daylight between the teams. Both teams then swapped two points a piece to leave the eventual winners still two clear with a quarter of the game remaining. Castletown scored two more points to go four points up but there was a little twist to come with one minute of normal time remaining a high ball into the Castletown goal area ended up in the net to leave things a bit nervous for the men in Green and Gold still one point up. But two points in the three minutes of Referee Colm Mc Manus's injury time gave Castletown a three points victory.
