'Pride Of Cubs' - Mobile Phone Ban - What A Great Idea

(Oldest Posts First)

One of Meath's most famous GAA clubs has been widely praised for its stand on the use of mobile phones during underage coaching.

Navan O'Mahony's have declared their 'Pride of Cubs' nursery as a phone-free zone in a move aimed at encouraging parents to show more interest in their child's development as young footballers and hurlers.

The above has been undertaken by Navan O'Mahonys and I have to give it to them I think that is brilliant. Parents more and more are just leaving there kids and not participating with them in the sports and sadly they are the one's that are negative and always given out about those that are trying.

So hats off to you O'Mahonys and well done and I hope other clubs join in.............
