Ratoath earn win

Ratoath came away with a win from their first round of the Intermediate championship with three points to spare over Rathkenny.

Ratoath settled well into the game with a well taken goal from Donal Kirwin who went on to score a total of 1-6 in the match.
Impressive for Ratoath were all the six backs, with goalkeeper Michael Fogarty doing well also. Rathkenny only managed to get 3 points from play in the game which shows the determination of all the Ratoath defenders, while up front Ger McCullagh and Donal Kirwin were the better.
