Donaghmore-Ashbourne are through to the last eight of the hoganstand.com SFC with this merited win over Dunshaughlin at Navan on Sunday.

Donaghmore-Ashbourne finished strongly after Dunshaughlin - who eliminated holders Navan O'Mahonys seven days earlier - cut the gap to just two points with 43 minutes gone to leave the board reading 1-9 to 1-7.
From there Sean Kelly's men posted eight points while conceding just three. Despite losing Conor Carton in the 55th minute to a second yellow card Donaghmore-Ashbourne maintained momentum.
Cathal O'Dwyer's 56th minute point left the board reading 1-12 to 1-9. Numerical deficiency didnt prevent Dunshauglin tagging on five points in the time remainng.
Dunshaughlin were first to show but took nearly five minutes to open the scoring through Cathal O'Dwyer (free). Prior to that they had posted three wides.
Within a minute Andrew Tormey levelled matters from play. By the ninth minute Donaghmore-Ashbourne hit the front through Michael Deegan (free).
The scores were tied for the second time, 10 minutes in, when Ray Maloney pounced on a poor Dunshaughlin kick-out to leave the scores tied for the second time and final time.
Dunshaughlin hit the front again in the 20th minute through Ray Maloney. Three minutes later Dylan Brady chipped Andrew Smith for the goal that gave Donaghmore-Ashbourne, 1-2 to 0-3, they took to the end of the game.
Sean Barry's men outscored Dunshaughlin by 0-4 to 0-1 over the remainder of the half to lead by 1-6 to 0-5 at the break Donaghmore-Ashbourne moved six points clear within seven minutes of resumption, 1-9 to 0-6.
Cue, Dunshaughlin's best spell. It started with Cathal O'Dwyer's goal at the town end, round in off a well-worked move involving Cian Gallogly, Tommy Johnson and Ben Duggan.
That left just two points in it, 1-9 to 1-7, after 43 minutes. Donaghmore-Ashbourne had the wherewithal to respond, outscoring Dunshaughlin by 0-8 to 0-3 over the remainder of the game to advance to a quarter-final meeting with Seneschalstown.
