Points from Kevin Keena(2) and Doyle cut the gap before substitute Josh Dennehy was dragged down in the square. Ger O'Neill's penalty was well saved by Farnan but he hammered home the rebound to reduce the gap to the minimum. Another two St.Ultans points seemed to settle the ship but Dunsany would not give up. Kevin Keena picked up his third point of the match before full back Brian Kenny found himself on the edge of the square. He managed to get his fist on a long ball and fired home to give Dunsany the lead for the first time since the 12th minute. The Dunsany rearguard came under serious pressure in the dying minutes as Ultans went in search of an equaliser but they could not find a way through.
