St Ultans returned to winning ways with a 2-13 to 2-7 victory over visitors Ballivor at Bohermeen on Saturday evening. Goals from Shane Rennicks and Emmet Costello had the home side ahead by nine points at half time 2-8 to 1-2. However, they did not have matters their own way in the second half but still ran out six point winners in the end. Ultans had seven different scorers and some of their point taking was as good as seen at the venue for a long time. This win will be a huge boost to the club who have not enjoyed the best of fortunes in recent times. Top scorer Shane Rennicks, Ian Rennicks, Kevin Galligan, Paddy McLaughlin, Emmett Costello and Ronan Galligan were Ultans best players.
