Summerhill's third team secured their first win of the league campaign thanks to a second half goal from Alan Bruton in this game played in Summerhill on Monday night.

The hosts held a two point lead at half-time, 0-3 to 0-1 and gained the two points when corner forward Bruton netted to leave three between the sides at the final whistle. Barry Yourell top scored for Summerhill with five points.
