AFL2: Trim lose to Nobber

For the first twenty five minutes of the first half the sides were even with no more them one point between them at any stage. Nobber then hit the Trim net to go 1-3 to 0-2 ahead and that goal was the be the defining score of the game. From the restart both teams were in action quickly with two points a piece within the first four minutes. The Trim side kept on working hard and brought the score difference back to one point with twelve minutes gone. Both sides traded points mid way through the half but then Nobber went three points up by the twentieth. Trim got a consolation point with three minutes left to leave the full time score with the North Meath side ahead by two points.

Subs - Gary Clarke, Shane Downes, Shane O'Connor,Andrew O'Brien.
Trim scorers were: Keith Hamilton 0-4 (4 frees), Ronan Fitzsimons 0-2, Darryl Phelin 0-1, Derek Donohoe 0-1, maurice Power 0-1.
