Carnaross 2-9
Kilmainhamwood 2-9

Carnaross kept their unbeaten run going after a last minute point from Liam Brogan snatched a draw following a tough encounter with Kilmainhamwood.

Despite being placed at the bottom of the table, Kilmainhamwood were impressive and led from the start after opening the scoring with a goal in the third minute. They added a point a minute later but Carnaross hit back with Stephen Dawson finding the bottom corner of the net to finish off a fine run. Kilmainhamwood were still in control however and added on three points while John Ward responded with a point for Carnaross before Rory O'Connor reduced the margin to two after fifteen minutes. Both sides went on to exchange three points each with Rory O'Connor, Liam Brogan and John Carpenter hitting the target for Carnaross to leave Kilmainhamwood leading 1-7 to 1-5 at half-time.

After the restart Kilmainhamwood continued to lead the way with two early points. Stephen Dawson pointed for Carnaross but a goal for Kilmainhamwood opened up a six point lead with fifteen minutes to go and the way the game was going it looked like Carnaross were left with a mountain to climb. However, they refused to lie down and a well taken goal from Shane Casserly gave them the boost they needed. Points in the final five minutes from Rory O'Connor and Stephen Dawson left just one in it before Liam Ward popped up with the equaliser in the final minute to complete the comeback. Kilmainhamwood had the chance to win it with a free but Carnaross were relieved to see the effort sail wide.
