Drumconrath found the long trip on a Monday a difficult task as missing a few regulars they lost to the home side on a wet and windy May evening.

Clonard led from the off and by the interval had a 1-12 to 0-3 lead, Drums did better in the second half as they began to get used to the surroundings and drew that part of the game 0-5 apiece. Drums best where Shane Dempsey, Conor Martin, John Lynch and Gavin Finnegan.
