AFL2: Kilmainham earn first points

Kilmainham earned their first win since promotion to Division 2 with a fine display against Dunderry.

Kilmainham were first of the mark in the fourth min with a Ger Morgan free. Dunderry then put over four unanswered points. Shane Morgan pointed in the 19th min with
a fine display of football skills up the centre of the field before seconds later Seanie Mahon made it three points for Kilmainham.

Dunderry added a further two points to leave it 0-06 to 0-03 at half time.

The second half started well for Dunderry as they added two scores straight away leaving them five ahead.

It was then that Kilmainham hit their opponents with a blistering attack which they scored three goals and a point within five minutes turning the tables on Dunderry that put Kilmainham five clear.

Michael Newman, Pat O'Sullivan and Gerard Morgan scored the goals.
