Kilskyre lost out in the end to Blackhall Gaels in a hard-fought and entertaining Division 2 hurling league in Kilskyre on Monday night.

Blackhall Gaels started off the strongest and the Kilskyre men stuggled to keep with them. But with some superbly taken scores both from play and placed balls from Tom Shine, Kilskyre went in at half itme with the game all square at 2-5 apiece.

In the second half with Padraig Muldoon, Tom Short, Simon Deevey and the excellent marksman Tom Shine, Kilskyre fell short in the end to a very strong Blackhall Gaels outfit.
