These two sides met the previous week in a close match which saw Inny Gaels coming out on top. Each side would have fancied their chances going into this Division 6 semi-final clash and both teams contributed to what was a very good game of football.

The home side missed a few scoring chances in the early exchanges before Rory Gibney netted to open the scoring. Points from Dylan Tighe and Sean Reilly followed to give the Gaels an early lead. However Dunderry soon replied with a goal and a brace of points to level the match. Goals from Dylan Tighe and Joseph Blake along with points from Rory Gibney (2), Sean Reilly (1) and Joseph Blake(1) completed the Inny Gaels first half tally. Dunderry added another goal and a point to leave the half time score of Inny Gaels 3-5 to Dunderry's 2-3

Dunderry started the second half well and added an early goal followed by two points to bring the teams level again. However, it was Inny Gaels who found an extra gear. Joseph Blake put over 4 points in a row and when Dylan Tighe hit his second goal of the game, Inny Gaels looked to have enough to see them through to the final. Substitutes Darren Gibney (1-0) and Ben Reilly (0-1) completed the scoring.

With Sean Peyton, Kevin Gilsenan, Alan Clarke, Jack Flynn and Ciaran Gibney in great form in the Gaels' defence, Dunderry found scores hard won.

Andrew Geraghty was dominant at midfield along with Jack Tighe with Geraghty's work rate very impressive.

Joseph Blake, Rory Gibney and Dylan Tighe were always a scoring threat while Sean Reilly and Shane Barkey worked very well in support play.

Inny Gaels will now play Boardsmill in the final on Tuesday 15th May in Kilmainham
