Longwood made the long trip to Moylagh worth while with a comfortable victory over the hosts.
Longwood had two debutants to their first team with Sean Coloe in the goals and Barkek Maksymiak coming on in the second half. The first half was full of goals for the village side with corner forward Ian Kennan causing havoc and scoring 4 goals in the first half, Karl Ennis also pointed with Rory Maguire (2) and Sean Sheridan on the score sheet. Longwood wasted plenty of good opportunites in front of goal before going in at half-time they leading 4-5 to 0-4.
The second half wasn't much different with the south Meath men dominating possession but just not taking there chances, Aaron Ennis notably missing good chances hitting the post and then the cross bar before he finally pounced on a mistake from the goalie to score Longwood's fifth. Moylagh battled hard and were rewarded with a penalty before the end that was well taken. Ryan Moore also added some nice points, as did Aaron Ennis and Rory Maguire to see out the game.
