Gaeil Colmcille suffered the first defeat of the Campaign with a two point loss over Longwood played in Kildalkey on Friday night.

The teams were level at half time 0-05 each. Rory Maguire (3), Aaron Ennis and Sean Sheridan got Longwood's first half scores.

The second half was a tough encounter with teams level 0-08 each just coming up to full time and a draw looked on the cards. But two late points from Damien Healy and Mickey Burke deep into injury time gave Longwood a well earned victory
