ST Patricks GAA Stamullen in conjunction with AIRTRICITY are hosting a GREEN ENERGY DAY on Saturday 11th February, 2012 from 10am to 6pm.
The event will be hosted at the clubs' new state of the art facilities on Cockhill Road, Stamullen, Co. Meath.
Green companies such as AIRTRICITY, SIEMENS IRELAND, DYSON IRELAND, PACON RECYCLING, RAIN WATER HARVESTING IRELAND, GREEN SAVE DF LTD will be present on the day to inspire and advise. There will be guaranteed discounts and special offers from AIRTRICITY, DYSON AND SIEMENS.
Also test drive the New Renault Fluence ZE and the new Renault Kangoo ZE, on display from BLACKSTONE MOTORS , Drogheda. There will also be a host of local businesses present, both established and budding to showcase their business on the day.
Children from both local schools, Whitecross School and St Patricks School are taking part in the GREEN ENERGY DAY COMPETITION, which will be judged on the day. There will also be face painting for the children and a surprise visit by a character well known to the kids !
St Patricks Minor team will be kicking off the first round of the Jack Kiernan & Sons Minor League with a match against Blackwater Gaels( Carnaross/ Round Towers) @ 3pm on home ground.
Mr Fergus O'Dowd, Minister of State at the Dept of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources and Environment will be present on the day. Also appearing on the day will be various current and ex-county footballers.
LMFM will be broadcasting live on the day from the event.
