IFC: Cortown unlucky against Dunderry

July 19, 2010

Cortown's Colm Kerrigan gains possession ahead of Dunderry's Darren Callaghan during the Meath IFC game at Athboy.
Cortown were most unlucky not to have at least got a draw from this close I.F.C game played in Athboy.

Dunderry 1-7
Cortown 0-9

The losers were forced to line out without the injured Ivor O'Halloran, Glenn Loughran and Gary Coyne who joioned the other long term injured list. Coyne and Loughran came on as subs during the game but were patently unfit.

However they played with great heart and if Lady luck shines on their efforts they could still escape the relegation dogfight.
