The Drumree delegate paid tribute to Billy Rattigan who won Leinster and All-Ireland medals with Meath in 1954. TJ Reilly spoke warmly about the late Billy Dixon (Killyon) and Sean Curtis (Kilmessan) both of whom served their club and county teams with distinction.

Chairman John Kavanagh paid tribute to well known Gael Jack Devine (Dunderry) who died on Christmas Eve. Jack lined out with Boyerstown in his playing days before throwing his lot in with Dunderry where he
served as an official for many years. Kavanagh said Jack's proudest moment came in 1996 when Tommy Dowd brought the Sam Maguire Cup to Dunderry.
