New Wolfe Tones football manager Michael McDermott.
Michael McDermott has been ratified as the new Wolfe Tones football manager.
The Cavan native, who replaces Tony Kearney at the Tones helm, brings a wealth of managerial experience to the role having previously guided the Clare senior footballers for three seasons while he led Banner County club Kilmurry-Ibrickane to an All-Ireland club final appearance in 2010.
McDermott was in charge of Ramor United when they claimed the Cavan SFC title in 2016 and had been strongly linked to the vacant Cavan job last year.
