Congratulations to Meath football sponsor Owen Brennan who was appointed as an honorary Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to the Northern Ireland agricultural-food industry.

As Executive Chairman of agri technology company Devenish, his longstanding contribution to Northern Ireland’s farming and food sectors was recognised in Queen Elizabeth’s birthday list.

Back in December 2016, Devenish announced a three-year sponsorship of the Royal County’s senior football team. The Beauparc resident’s company is also the generous sponsor of the local Seneschalstown club.
