Schools: Baconstown retain title

Baconstown NS won their first ever Allianz Meath Cumann Na mBunscol Division 1 camogie title in 2017 and they retained their crown with this win over St Pauls NS in the 4th game of the day at Lomans Park Trim. There was no competition in 2018. To view photos click here

Farragh Stack was the star player for the winner. The talented forward hit three points over the 40 minutes. Team mate Aoife Kane got the games imnpoertan gaol as Caroline Murphys changes worked up a 1-2 to 0-0 interval lead. Aoibhin Kielty got St Pauls on the scoreboard in the early stages of the second half.

After the game Baconstown captain Amy Cleary was presented with the Division 1 Camogie cup by Mary Devine.
