A FL: Finals, promotions, relegations and play offs

Ballinabrackey are promoted to Division 1 for 2020

With one round to go in Division 1 and the completion of Division 2. 3 and 4 here is the state of play in the Meath All County A Football Leagues.

Division 1 Mooney Cup

O'Mahonys held Top place most of the campaign and needed a Round 13 win over Skryne to claim a place in the Final. Gaeil Colmcille's win over Summerhill ensured that the sides will meet in the semi final to see who will play O'Mahonys for the Mooney Cup. 

Skryne's win over Oldcastle in Round 11 proved vital as that victory seen them safe as Oldcastle lost out on the head to head and now go into the promotion/relegation playoff. Syddan and Moynalvey where already relegated before the last round fixtures

Division 2 Kevin McConnell Cup

Seneschalstown ensured a swift return to Division 1 as they topped Division 2 and will face Intermediate side Ballinabrackey in the Final. Not too long ago the Bracks played in Division 3 and 2020 will see them ply their trade in the Top tier. 

St Patricks win over neighbours St Colmcilles seen the Stalmullen men earn the playoff spot where they now will face Oldcastle for the right to play Division 1 in 2020.

Meath Hill and St Michaels automatically slip to Division 3 while Bective despite a valient effort which saw them come away with a hard fought win in Duleek/Bellewstown. Bective will now face neighbours Walterstown for the right to play Division 2 next year.

Division 3 Cummins Cup

Ballinlough who brought Castletown's 100% record to an end and so quailified to play Castletown in the Final and both have secured promotion to Division 2.

Walterstown pipped Drumbaragh (the teams had drawn their Round 5 game) on score different to grab the playoff spot for the chance to play Division 2 in 2020.

Kimainham pulled off a Houdini act by beating Longwood and so Longwood and Dunsany will play in the new Division 4A next year.

Division 4 Jack Fitzgerald Cup

Clann na nGael and Moylagh won their last round games and will clash in the Final. Kilbride and Kilmainhamwood will also play Division 4A with the Wood's single point win gaining them promotion. 

Dunsany, Longwood, Moylagh, Clann na nGael, Kilbride and Kilmainhamwood along 6 reserve teams will complete the new Division 4A for 2020.
