Bhulf Tón held a two point lead heading into the closing minutes but had to settle for a draw after conceding two late points in this Division 1 Football League clash at Kilberry.

The game was closely contested in greasy conditions and the minimum separated the teams at half time, Tones 1-06 Don/Ash 1-05. This was a demanding weekend for a number of the Tones players as no fewer than seven of Tones starting team had played a full B League game the day before.
