Meath champions Dunboyne inflicted a 10-point defeat on hosts Shelmaliers at Innovate Wexford Park today.
The Ciaron Byrne managed outfit were full value for their 1-12 to 1-2 success against a Shelmaliers team that finished with 14 men after Brian Malone was shown a red card 12 minutes into the second-half.
Despite conceding a goal to Ross Banville in the opening period, Dunboyne enjoyed a commanding 0-10 to 1-1 cushion at the break.
Cathal Lacey applied the gloss to their performance with a 56th minute goal.
They now await the winners of tomorrow’s Dublin SFC final between Kilmacud Crokes and St Jude’s in the last eight.
