Ex-Meath minor star Conor Nash made an impressive AFL debut as Hawthorn Hawks defeated Geelong 10.11.71 to 8.12.60 at the MCG earlier today.
Nash, who signed for the Melbourne club in 2016, took on a Geelong side which consisted of fellow Irish men Zach Tuohy (Laois) and Mark O'Connor (Kerry) and was involved in the game's final run which saw Hawks star Jaeger O'Meara slot a goal to seal victory.
It marks the Hawks fourth win on the trot as they continue to push for a spot in the top four and fans on Twitter clearly were impressed by the 20-year-old's first outing in the AFL.
